KSBL will be hosting a Seminar on Leadership, Structure and Governance of Successful Project Based Firms, which will be held on 26 September, 2013, at KSBL Campus. This seminar will be conducted by Dr Nelson Philips.
Project-based firms are common sight in many business and development sectors, such as engineering, construction, architecture, software, media, advertising, filmmaking, infrastructure, development. Their activities are organized to deliver projects aimed at meeting complex, differentiated and customized needs of clients. To succeed, these project-based firms need to maintain internal alignment on one side and demonstrate flexibility to respond to varied opportunities, manage workloads and allocate resources to different projects on the other side.
Professor Nelson Philips and his colleagues conducted a decade long research on leadership, structures and governance of project-based firms whose activities spanned a wide range of markets and geographic location.
