Muhammad Naiman Jalil received a PhD in supply chain management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, Netherlands in the year 2011. He is currently associated with United Arab Emirates University as a faculty member in the area of Supply Chain Management. In the past, he served as an Associate Dean and Associate Professor in the area of supply chain management at Suleman Dawood School of Business, Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He also served as a Senior Advisor for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of the Punjab, Pakistan on healthcare supply chain management issues. Earlier, he was also associated with MIT- Zaragoza Logistics Center and National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. His professional experiences and academic publications are in supply chain management and management science domains.
Endorsing data driven decision making philosophy, he is interested in applying analytical modeling techniques to solve complex supply chain management issues. Such issues often have conflicting objectives of customer service and operational costs. He has also worked and published in environmentally conscious supply chain management, healthcare supply chain management and service parts supply chain management domains.
