KSBL students participated and won Annual Infer 2014, a competition organised by the Finance and Economics clubs of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) from February 7 to 9, 2014, at the IBA main campus. Infer aims to create cognitive objectivity and develop risk-taking skills in the participants, who are prepared to learn, lead and put their learning to test in an unconventional yet challenging environment. It is a platform for students to compete on a national level.
The competition comprised of six rounds, divided over three days, and only 07 out of 38 participating teams passed the final stages of the competition. One of them was Team KSBL (members: Muddasir Ali Soomro, Hassan Yousuf, Muhammad Mobin, Abbas Zia & Asad Abdul Muhammad). On the final day of the event, short-listed teams analysed, presented and defended their stance in complex economic situations, and the competition became tougher. KSBL participants applied their knowledge, theories, concepts and techniques successfully to the scenarios that simulate real world problems and emerged as winners.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that our winning team bagged the Annual Infer 2014 prize of PKR 125,000. We are proud to have a pool of such talented students under our wing – Congratulations Team KSBL!
