Groundbreaking of The Dawood Foundation – KSBL City Campus was performed on February 28th at the construction site located at the Stadium Road, in close proximity of Agha Khan University Hospital and Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi. Present on this historic occasion were Robert Wheeler, Dean KSBL; Shahid Pracha, CEO The Dawood Foundation; Directors of Paragon Constructors Pvt. Ltd., the contractors for the excavation work and The Dawood Foundation – KSBL Project and Management Teams. The KSBL Dean and the Team were very excited and motivated and vowed to continue working hard to establish this world-class business school in Pakistan. The city campus being built on a 3 acre plot owned by The Dawood Foundation will comprise of 112,000 square feet of constructed area including a basement car park and will be designed to accommodate up to 325 students. It will comprise of lecture theaters, seminar rooms, break-out rooms, meeting rooms, cafeteria, a library and a fully equipped auditorium. The campus will be fitted with the latest communication technology. The building construction will be completed by September 2012, in time for entry of the first cohort of MBA students.
