KSBL Executive Education recently conducted a two-day program on Leading High Performance Teams for Growth and Change. Dr. Muhammad Athar Siddiqui – Assistant Professor, Organizational Behavior and HR Management, KSBL facilitated this program.
This two day interactive program was attended by professionals from several industries including banking and finance, oil and gas exploration and textile.
The program explored frameworks in dealing with teams and the intricacies that involve team work in the context of individual roles, responsibilities and interdependencies. The faculty leveraged their experience in human resource and organizational behavior to introduce the participants to the dynamics of teamwork and leadership.
The program started with a personality assessment exercise where participants found out about their strong areas and how they can utilize them to bring the best in their team from a psychological standpoint. The participants also enjoyed the tower building exercise meant to emphasize the importance of roles and responsibilities in a team.
The second half of the program talked about the role a well knitted team can play for change initiatives and their implementation, and the importance of individual vs team performance. The program ended with a simulation on change management. The participants found the two day program to be remarkably interactive and a great learning experience.
