KSBL Graduate Recruitment Drive kicks off with Accenture Canada

With its first MBA batch graduating in April 2014, KSBL is making great strides to ensure that their talented students get recognized by the best local as well as international recruiters.

On Friday, 24th January, KSBL kicked off with the recruitment drive and organized an interactive seminar on The Science of Success – Finding the Formula for High Performance Consulting, conducted by Mr. Arsalan Nayyar – Director Management Consulting, Strategy & Technology, Accenture Canada; which is ranked amongst the top 10 consulting firms, globally.

Sharing his 15 years’ experience of Management Consultancy for Deloitte and Accenture Mr. Nayyar shed light upon what makes a great consultant and what characteristics do best consultancy firms seek in potential business associates. He also elaborated upon the importance of emotional intelligence and credibility in order to groom oneself into a successful professional.

Following the seminar, fourteen to-be-graduating MBA students were shortlisted by Accenture Canada for screening interviews. The students who make the final cut are expected to be placed at their Singapore and Abu Dhabi offices. Impressed by the enthusiasm displayed by the MBA 2015 batch, Mr. Nayyar decided to conduct impromptu interviews for Accenture Summer Internship program as well. We wish all the applicants good luck for the Accenture Canada recruitment program!

As a part of the graduate recruitment drive, 180 top global and local companies have been targeted, half of which are already in contact with the KSBL Career Services Department. A number of these organizations have also been invited for on-campus recruitment and engagement sessions, for the placement of KSBL 2014 graduates, as well as for the internships of 2015 batch. KSBL wants to provide numerous opportunities to its graduates to showcase their true talent and potential as future leaders; and the Graduate Recruitment Drive 2014 is the first step towards the process.
