Mr Jeff Bradley Vice President of Advanced Communications at Grenzebach, Glier and Associates, came to Karachi on a 5-day trip. Grenzebach, Glier and Associates is a top philanthropic consulting firm in higher education in the US and the UK. Mr Bradley met a number of KEI board of directors including Mr Arif Habib, Mr Muhammad Ali Tabba and Mr Munawar Siddiqui. Additionally, he had the opportunity to speak with Mr Hussain Dawood and Mr Atif Bokhari. He also had extensive interaction with senior management of KSBL. Mr Bradley visited the KSBL City Campus site, and he was pleased with the construction work at site. He also met with participants of an on-going KSBL Executive Education course at the Arabian Sea Country Club.
Mr Bradley enjoyed visiting Jashn-e-Faiz at the KMC Sports Complex. The programme was organized by Citizens for Democracy celebrating Faiz’s centenary. He was very impressed with the live performances at the event. Mr Bradley also visited the Empress Market, and he truly enjoyed seeing a Karachi Market with a wide range of food and spices presented much differently from markets in the US. He bought some spices to take with him to the US. Mr Bradley enjoyed halwa puri with the KSBL staff, a traditional Pakistani breakfast. Mr Bradley, who is a scout leader in Colorado, visited Sindh Boys Scouts Camp site. He participated in an extensive scouting programme with the troop, and he was impressed with the scouting facilities in Karachi. He also plans to establish a relationship with the Karachi troop in future. Mr Bradley’s visit to the Sunday Bazaar enriched him with a unique morning experience, and he witnessed a big crowd of sellers, buyers and simple on-lookers. He purchased three shalwar kameez at the market!
