KSBL Appoints Dr. Asghar Zaidi as Rector
The Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Asghar Zaidi as Rector, effective immediately.
Dr. Zaidi brings over three decades of international experience spanning academia, public policy, and institutional leadership. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford and has most recently served as Provost at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), having previously served as Vice Chancellor of Government College University Lahore.

As Rector, Dr. Zaidi will advance KSBL’s academic vision deepening research, expanding global partnerships, and strengthening the institution’s engagement with industry and policy. The Board also expressed its gratitude to Dr. Ahmad Junaid for his pivotal leadership as Dean & Interim Rector. During his tenure, KSBL achieved significant milestones in driving growth and focus on character driven leadership. Dr. Junaid will continue to play a vital role in the school’s future as Dean.
