Transfer Students:
  • Transfer of credits applies to 1st and 2nd-semester students on the Undergraduate level only.
  • Credits are transferred on a course-to-course basis, for courses graded minimum C and above.
  • Credit transfer will take place once the candidate has been accepted for admission at KSBL
  • The test will be waived on a case-to-case basis

What is the deadline for admissions?

Ans. The deadline to apply for Fall 2022 is August 17th, 2022

 

What is the admissions process?

Ans. Undergraduate Programs:

Where does KSBL conduct aptitude tests and interviews?

Ans. The test is conducted on campus and interviews are conducted online.

 

How will we get to know about the test dates?

Ans. Once you submit the complete application, your documents will be verified and then your test date will be sent to you via email as well as it will be updated on our Admissions portal.

 

Is the admission test compulsory for every student seeking admission in KSBL?

Ans. No, it’s not. Candidates for graduate programs can opt for other tests in place of KMAT including GMAT, GRE, and NTS-GAT. Candidates for the undergraduate programs can claim an exemption for KUAT based on a valid SAT score. However, the payment of the admission application processing fee is compulsory and remains unchanged in case of an exemption.

 

What is the eligibility criteria for admission?

Eligibility criteria is as follows:

For Undergraduate Program:

What is the fee structure?

Ans. We have a standardized fee per credit hour with no other hidden fee or charges upon admission.

Undergraduate Programs:
  • Per credit hour fee is Rs. 15000

This makes per course fee is Rs. 45,000 and per semester fee is Rs. 225,000

Graduate Programs:
  • Per credit hour fee is Rs. 25000

This makes per course fee is Rs. 75,000

For MSBA: Per semester fee is Rs. 225,000

For MBA / EMBA – 30 credit hrs: Per semester fee is Rs. 300,000

For MBA / EMBA – 60 credit hrs: Per semester fee is Rs. 375,000

 

When do the classes commence?

Ans. for Fall semester, classes commence in September. For Spring semester, classes commence in February.

 

What is the duration of a semester?

Ans. The duration of a semester is 14 – 16 weeks.

 

Does KSBL refer to any institute for the preparation of admission test?

Ans.  KSBL doesn’t have any preference for the preparation, however, students can take help from the online sample paper and general practice material available online.

What are class timings?

Undergraduate Program:

Classes will be held on campus from Monday thru Friday in between 9 am and 5 pm.

Graduate Program:

  • For MBA and MSBA: Classes will be held on campus throughout the week. On weekdays, classes will be conducted in the evening hours in between 7 pm and  10 pm and on weekends, classes will be conducted in between 9 am and 5 pm
  • For EMBA: Classes will be conducted online and on week nights (after 7pm) and weekends only.

 

Does KSBL offer any Financial Assistance?

Ans. Yes, Financial assistance options are available which includes Merit Scholarship, KSBL Interest-free loan and Third-party loan.

When can we apply for financial assistance?

Ans. You can apply for financial assistance when you fill out your admission application form. The financial assistance form will be activated once you complete your application.

 

Does KSBL allow the students to apply for admission whose final result has not been announced?

Ans: Yes, you can upload an unofficial transcript in an online application form along with an undertaking that you’ll meet our minimum requirement and can submit an official transcript later.

 

Is work experience required for an MBA?

Ans: KSBL MBA is open for fresh graduates, however, for executive MBA those with five years of experience can apply.

 

What is the equivalence of 30 credit hour MBA in terms of number of years of education?

Executive MBA 30 credit hours is equal to 18 years of education.

What is the eligibility difference between a 30-credit hour MBA/Exec MBA and a 60-credit hour MBA/ Exec MBA?

A 30-credit hour program is for those with 16 years of education in business and relevant areas (CA, ACCA, CFA) while the 60-credit hour program is for those with 16 years of education in any other disciplines (like Medicine, Law, Engineering, etc)

 

Does KSBL offer Financial Assistance?

A vast majority (more than 65%) of KSBL students are on some form of Financial Assistance and Merit Scholarships. KSBL believes in the provision of education for all and offers generous need and merit-based assistance. We offer financial assistance in different forms. Students who top the merit list are given merit-based financial assistance. Moreover, students, who are unable to pay the fee, can apply for need-based financial assistance through a simple application form.

Do you take credit transfer students?

Transfer cases are permitted to join if their courses match 75% of the course content being taught at KSBL. Every Credit Transfer case is scrutinized individually by the KSBL administration. Students, seeking credit transfer, can apply for transferring credits to KSBL, through a simple application procedure.

 

What are some acceptable entry tests for KSBL Programs?

Students are required to clear their Entry Test Examination for becoming eligible for admission. KSBL accepts results of the following Entry Tests for its admissions:

  • KMAT (Validity of Result: 2 Years)
  • GMAT (Validity of Result: 5 Years)
  • GRE (Validity of Result: 5 Years)
  • NTS GAT General (Validity of Result: 2 Years)
  • NTS GAT Subject (Management Sc.) (Validity of Result: 2 Years)
