KSBL Knowledge Forum Unpacks Academic Quality Standards in Its Second Session on PSG-2023 Compliance

Karachi, July 14, 2026 – Following the successful launch of the KSBL Knowledge Forum last week, the Karachi School of Business & Leadership (KSBL) hosted the second session of its weekly seminar series today at the ELA-1 hall.

Aligned with the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of academic excellence, continuous improvement, and active knowledge sharing, this week’s session deep-dived into the structural frameworks governing higher education quality in the country.

Understanding the Pakistan Precepts, Standards & Guidelines (PSG) 2023

The seminar, titled “Pakistan Precepts, Standards & Guidelines (PSG) 2023: Compliance and Implementation at Karachi School of Business & Leadership (KSBL),” was led by key institutional speakers:

  • Mr. Muhammad Abdul Aqueel
  • Mr. Iftikhar Ahmed

The presenters provided valuable structural insights into the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) newly instituted Pakistan Precepts, Standards, and Guidelines (PSG-2023). The presentation particularly focused on how these quality standards are being mapped and systematically implemented at KSBL to enhance:

  • Academic Quality: Strengthening curriculum delivery, learning methodologies, and assessment systems.
  • Institutional Effectiveness: Optimizing operational processes, self-evaluation models, and administrative benchmarks.
  • Student Learning: Ensuring a rigorous, supportive environment that maximizes pupil outcomes and leadership preparation.

Collaborative Action & Interactive Discussion

The session commenced with an informative 30-minute presentation detailing the alignment of KSBL’s internal quality assurance frameworks with national guidelines. This was followed by a dynamic, interactive discussion and Q&A session where faculty and staff exchanged practical perspectives on sustaining top-tier educational standards.

A Growing Platform for Collaborative Learning

As an open forum for all faculty and staff, the KSBL Knowledge Forum continues to build momentum as a weekly space for intellectual development and operational synergy.

Moving forward, the forum is envisioned to evolve into a broader, vibrant platform where faculty, students, alumni, and industry leaders regularly converge to share cutting-edge ideas, challenge conventional paradigms, and advance KSBL’s collective culture of continuous learning.
