Karachi, 07, July 2026 – To further cultivate a campus culture rooted in continuous learning and vibrant academic discourse, the Karachi School of Business & Leadership (KSBL) has officially launched the KSBL Knowledge Forum. This newly established initiative is a weekly informal seminar series designed to take place every Tuesday, serving as a platform for faculty, students, and industry enthusiasts to explore emerging global trends.

Inaugural Session: Demystifying Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

The inaugural session of the forum focused on the mechanics, applications, and future of Blockchain Technology & Cryptocurrency. The session featured specialized insights from key institutional figures:

• Dr. Ahmad Junaid (Program Head – BS Accounting & Finance), who provided a comprehensive look at the strategic financial shifts and technical fundamentals underpinning cryptographic systems, including live demonstrations on concepts like the SHA256 Hash algorithm.
• Mr. Danish Hussain (Manager – Student Services), who co-facilitated the event and supported coordination to ensure an interactive learning environment for all participants.

The speakers collectively highlighted the real-world applications of blockchain within corporate accounting, fintech structures, and global finance, breaking down how these decentralized systems are redefining modern business operations.
