KSBL Hosts Shahzada Dawood Learning Circle Session on Quranic Covenants for Character-Driven Leadership
On September 9, 2026, the Karachi School of Business & Leadership (KSBL) hosted a session of the Shahzada Dawood Learning Circle (SDLC) featuring Mr. Ahmer Bilal Soofi, Founder and President of the Research Society of International Law. The session, titled “Quranic Covenants for Character-Driven Leadership,” explored the Quranic concept of covenant as a framework for responsibility, accountability and leadership. Drawing on his research, Mr. Soofi reflected on how Taqwa and Tawakkul shape a leader’s commitment to the Creator and influence leadership beyond competence and results. The discussion also examined the TTHIS values Truthfulness; Trustworthiness; Humility; Integrity; and Striving (for excellence) and their role in shaping the character of future leaders and the institutions they build. The session brought together members of the wider KSBL, ENGRO and Dawood Foundation community for reflection and dialogue on the relationship between values, character and leadership.
