KSBL Organized Field Trip to Metro Store for MBA Students as Part of Trade Marketing Class
KSBL students went on field trip to Metro store, as a part of their Trade Marketing Course, facilitated by Mr. Taha Thanvi (Adjunct Faculty, KSBL) and Mr. Taimour Abdullah (Adjunct Faculty, KSBL).
The students did practical analysis of brands placements and their planograms on the basis of their market demand. The Metro team also showed glimpses of induction of latest technology, with elaboration of mechanism of various operations conducted at store.
Mr. Farooq (Floor Manager, Metro) explained visitors about the category wise placements of assortments of different brands, Metro’s strategy in the Retail sector and how the store was designed keeping in view the shopper.
Furthermore, the Metro team also shared about installation of latest technology in store and explained students about mechanism of various operations conducted there.
The trip offered students a real-world experience which they thoroughly enjoyed by experiencing first-hand the concepts of Trade Marketing implemented in the market.
