KSBL Orientation Week Begins with a Focus on Character-Driven Leadership
KSBL welcomed its Undergraduate and Graduate students for the first day of Orientation Week 2026 under the theme “One Campus, One Community.” The day opened with a formal welcome, recitation and the National Anthem, followed by an introductory address by Rector Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi on why KSBL exists and its commitment to developing Character-Driven Leadership.
Students then met the Heads of Programs through a series of program presentations, followed by a guest session with Shaykh Hashim Ahmed titled “Who Am I and Why?”
The orientation continued with an overview of key administrative departments, including Admissions, Examinations, Finance, IT, ERP Systems and Student Experience & Leadership Formation (SELF).
Students also explored the campus, were introduced to the CGM Values Framework, and participated in ice-breaking activities including Bingo, Apna Naam, Apna Shehar, Khwab Kya Hain? Dream Pairs, and Meri Zubaan, Meri Pehchaan.
The day set the tone for an orientation experience focused not only on academics, but also on belonging, values, self-discovery and leadership formation.
