Dr. Waseem Hassan

Associate Professor
Marketing Strategy

Dr. Waseem Hassan has a distinguished career as a teacher, researcher, mentor and consultant. He has done his PhD from China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, P.R. China and has been actively involved in research and exchange activities with different Chinese universities and organizations.

Before joining KSBL, Dr. Hassan was associated with NUST Business School, NUST, Islamabad. He performed the duties of Assistant Professor, Program Head MBA, Head of Department of International Business & Marketing, Head Alumini Linkages, and Head Industrial Linkages. He has also arranged visits of Chinese delegations to NUST and other institutes. He has played an important role in bringing NUST Business School among top 300 Business Schools in QS World Ranking, securing five years NBEAC accreditation and securing AACSB membership.

Dr. Hassan is also associated with HEC as member HEC Accreditation Committee and have visited several institutes across the country for accreditation. He has profound knowledge about HEC’s rules, regulations and quality standards and always emphasize on quality education.

Dr. Hassan has published several articles in well reputed journals and conferences. His area of interest is Marketing, Brand Management, Digital Marketing Platforms and Consumer Behavior. He has a good understanding and experience of teaching with different pedagogies. He has experience of teaching in different institutes in Pakistan and China.
