Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Tanweer

Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Tanweer is an Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at KSBL. He has over 13 years of experience in research and academia. He has several years of administrative experience as Program Coordinator, Head of the department and Chairman of Postgraduate studies at Hamdard University and DHA Suffa University.

In his academia experience, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Tanweer has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at Hamdard University and DHA Suffa University, where he taught Programming, Algorithm Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematical and Logical courses, Data Structures, Research Methodology, Modeling and Simulation and Numerical Analysis. He has also taught at Iqra University as a visiting faculty member. He is a recipient of Best university teacher award in 2012 at Hamdard University.

Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Tanweer has served as member of Academic Council, Board of Faculty and Board of Studies at renowned universities in Karachi. He is also a member of review panel for National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). He is affiliated with several top quality renowned journals like Information Sciences, Evolving Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation as reviewer. He also serves as a reviewer in the IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation every year since 2016.

During his Ph.D., Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Tanweer remained affiliated with the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and worked towards the development of human learning principles inspired variants of the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm. He has published 21 peer-reviewed research articles in top quality journals and conferences. He was awarded the outstanding student paper travel grant by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society in 2015 for presenting his research work at IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computing.
